Welcome to Saving Souls, the tfl.org approved fanlisting for relationship between Angel and Alan Francis Doyle   from the TV show, Angel.

  Doyle, a half-demon messenger from The Powers That Be, was sent to Angel in the pilot episode of the Buffy the   Vampire Slayer spin-off series, Angel. Delivering messages sent to him in the form of visions to Angel, the   Champion, it wasn't long before their arrangment became a solid friendship in the short nine episodes they   spent on the series together. In my personal opinion, Doyle was probably the best friend Angel ever had, and   throughout the series run his presence (and the extremely talented late Glenn Quinn) was sorely missed.

  The title of this fanlisting comes from a quote of Doyle's in pilot: You know, it's about letting 'em into your heart.   It's not just saving lives, it's saving souls. Hey, possibly your own in the process.
