Welcome to If Wishes Were Horses, the tfl.org approved Fanlisting for the character Dr. Robert "Rocket" Romano of the television series,   ER. An extremely talented surgeon, played by Paul McCrane, who had a love for getting under everyone's skin that he encountered. One of   my favorite things about Romano was the fact that no matter how much of an utter ass he could come across as, there were small glimpses   of his softer side that were so amazing. He loved his job, he loved Lizzie, and he loved being the burr in everyone's side. And you know, I   love him for them all.

  Being a part of the show from the fourth season, up until his death in the tenth, Romano was always a character that was a joy to love to   hate. Or just love. Or just hate. Heh. No matter what your feelings were about him, there was no way he was going to be ignored.

  The fanlisting's title comes from one of the many Romanoisms, "If wishes were horses, we'd all be knee deep in crap."
