Welcome to The Gift, the tfl.org approved Fanlisting for the late running legend, Steve "Pre" Prefontaine from Coos   Bay, Oregon. The title comes from his quote that is featured in the layout.

  At the time of Pre's untimely death at the age of twenty-four in an automobile accident in May of 1975, he held every   American running record from 2,000 meters to 10,000 meters. While he never won an Olympic medal before his   death, he did win several NCAA titles during his years at the University of Oregon, and will forever be known as one of   the greatest running legends to ever live and compete.
