Welcome to Flashy, the tfl.org approved fanlisting for the actor, John Wesley Shipp. Maybe most widely known   as The Flash, from the 1990 TV series that was based on the comic book character, it was obvious that John   Wesley shined with extreme talent.

  Starring on string of soaps early in his career, he was finally recognized with a Daytime Emmy for his role as   Doug Cummings on As the World Turns in 1986.

  More recently, in the fall of 2001, John Wesley left the now finished WB series, Dawson's Creek, after four years   of playing Mitch Leery, the over-sexed, selfless, and extremely handsome father of Dawson.

  At the moment it is unknown where he'll show up next, but I'm certain that his fans will be thrilled to see him   back at work, making another character come to life, whenever and wherever he shows up next!
